Our Local Parent Group History

The Hudson Valley Parent Group was re-established three years ago by Guy Buonocore with assistance from Mahnaz Sullivan-Davachi and services ten New York State counties along the Hudson River. We are very grateful for their service to our community. The HVPG is a source of support and networking for families facing the challenges and questions of having a loved one become a Midshipman/woman. As they say, the USNA is NOT college! Through these connections many friendships have been made and great exchanges of information have taken place. HVPG events directly benefit our sons and daughters because as they work on the Yard in Annapolis, we become informed and learn how best to support and encourage them as they follow their dreams to serve our nation.
